| Hello All,
Ok, brief run down: I am now (as of August) working at LBC as a Financial Aid and Enrollment Counselor and loving it!!! I am also still working on losing weight. I am believing that God will help me lose the 33lbs I have to lose yet, to reach my goal. I know He can do it!!!

| I am going to Oregon again!!! I leave the day after Christmas and get back New Year's Eve. Can't wait to see my friends Naomi and Waylon and "my girls" Linda and Ellen. They are two and a half already!!!

| Yeah, so life is busy...I know, I know, it's been awhile and everyone does myspace and face book instead of xanga...oh well. I like to be different.
Well, since I last updated, things have happened. I now work at my beloved alma mater...yea!!!! I am a Financial Aid and Enrollment Counselor. God has really blessed me with great people with whom to work, a stellar atmosphere and a wonderful college to call my home (at least M-F 8-4).
It's been a year since TZ. I started sponsoring a little girl in addition to Ibrahim, so I have him and Hadija. I hope someday I can go back and see them both.
Since January God has been helping me do some heavy-duty working out. I have lost 34 lbs. and hope to lose 34 more. He has been so faithful!!!
Still working with youth group at church and enjoying it...still writing the email newsletter to around 80 girls/women each Monday. Again, God has blessed me abundantly to be able to do this each week.
I am hoping to head to Oregon again this year, if I can find affordable plane tickets.
In general, I am so thankful for life, for friends, for family, for my job, for all the amazing things God gives me each day.

| I am in Oregon again!!! God gave me the opportunity once again to visit my friend Naomi in Oregon. I am having a wonderful time. It is definitely a vacation. I have slept in until 9 the past two days. Today I woke up and it was snowing!!!! I don't usually like snow because I despise driving in it, but this year I have kind of missed it because it hasn't snowed. So, since I don't have to go anywhere, I am loving the beauty and purity of the snow. God is so good at showing Himself to us puny humans. He is so awesome!!! Hope you are all well, Mandi | | |
